Objective
Improve the preparedness and capacity of hospital services at the Sint Maarten Medical Center, the only hospital on the island for the growing population

- Residents of Sint Maarten, Saba, and St. Eustatius
- Millions of tourists that visit Sint Maarten and need medical services
Approach
BUILD
a new 104-bed general hospital alongside the Sint Maarten Medical Center Foundation
INCREASE
hospital resilience against hurricanes with winds up to 200mph and other disasters
FINANCE
critical upgrades to the existing hospital and help enhance hospital services
STRENGTHEN
SMMC's capacity to provide high-quality care from trained and specialized staff
