FOSTERING RESILIENT LEARNING PROJECT
Objective
(i) Restore access to an adequate and inclusive learning environment and to re-establish library services, and (ii) improve the availability of quality data for decision making
Beneficiaries
- 6,400 current and future students, plus teachers and staff
- Students, communities, and visitors for the rebuilt Philipsburg library
- Ministries of General Affairs, Public Health, Social Development and Labor, and Justice
Approach
STRENGTHEN
island capacity to offer inclusive learning to all children, including those with special needs
REBUILD
two primary schools to withstand hurricanes, earthquakes, and other disasters
RESTORE
the building and services of the Philipsburg library, including furniture and information technology
IMPROVE
data collection and management of the education system through a centralized database
