Emergency Recovery Project 1
Objective
Contribute to Sint Maarten’s immediate emergency recovery needs and strengthen its institutional capacity to manage resilient recovery and reconstruction
Beneficiaries
- Entire population of Sint Maarten (about 40,000)
- Emergency first responders
- Low-income and vulnerable households
Approach
PROVIDE
emergency equipment and facilities for disaster first responders
REPAIR
emergency facilities, shelters, housing, and schools
RESTORE
utility services, such as street lighting and water storage capacity
FINANCE
operations and staffing of the National Recovery Program Bureau
