CIVIL SOCIETY PARTNERSHIP FACILITY FOR RESILIENCE PROJECT

Objective 

Improve the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) and support the implementation of reconstruction and resilience sub-projects at the community level 

 Beneficiaries 
  • About 80 CSO recipients expected to directly benefit from training, skills transfers, and financing. —includes nongovernmental, community-based, faith-based, and youth organizations 
  • About 10,000 individuals in Sint Maarten expected to directly benefit from approximately 100 community sub-projects  
Approach
PROVIDE PROVIDE small grants to local CSOs for reconstruction and resilience activities that are needed to support community services
TRAIN TRAIN CSO staff in key technical and needs-based skills, such as quality of reporting, proposal writing, and project management
PREPARE PREPARE a capacity building plan and knowledge-sharing events to ensure that eligible CSOs receive assistance based on identified needs
