The Sint Maarten Trust Fund finances projects implemented by the National Recovery Program Bureau on behalf of the Government of Sint Maarten and its partner organizations. Analytical work and technical assistance are implemented for Sint Maarten by the World Bank. Allocations are made according to decisions of the Trust Fund Steering Committee.

 

ABOUT THE TRUST FUND

The Sint Maarten Recovery, Reconstruction and Resilience Trust Fund responds to the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma in Sint Maarten in September 2017.

The Trust Fund, administered by the World Bank, utilizes the US$512 million in finance provided by the Government of the Netherlands to support the post-hurricane recovery and reconstruction of Sint Maarten and longer-term development priorities to strengthen the country's resilience.
